Dr. phil. Marie-Luise Reinhard-Mika

About my artistic life
Mezzosoprano Marie-Luise Reinhard, a native of Fulda, Germany, began studying recorder and piano at the age of 9 and dedicated herself to the expression of art in acting, dancing, and interpreting.
She discovered her talent for singing at the age of 18 after performing with different choirs, and began her studies with Dietmar Vollmert (Kriftel, Frankfurt on the Main) and Maria Tuczek-Graf (Wiesbaden) where she won scholarships for young artists from the Carl Hempel-Stiftung and Die junge Operette (Frankfurt on the Main).
In November of 2018 she moved to Rome to obtain her Ph.D. in Classics, where she studied with Emanuela De Santis-Salucci at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia before being tutored by Alessandro Luciano, her current teacher since July 2020.
Ms. Reinhard has attended various master classes with Gabriele Zimmermann, Elisabeth Bengtson-Opitz, Peter Pachl, Ingo Kolonerics, and Stefano Seghedoni, Cristina Park and Marco Boemi where she has sharpened her performance skills.
Since 2012, she has performed as contralto in ecclesiastical concerts in Germany, lieder recitals in Germany and France, Italy, and stage productions by Die junge Operette in Germany. As an ensemble member of the Pianopianissimo-Musiktheater Munich since 2020, she made her opera debut in Bayreuth as maiden, maenad, and dancer in Siegfried Wagner’s Sonnenflammen, produced and recorded on CD and DVD for Naxos by the International Siegfried Wagner Society in August 2020. Most recently, she appeared with the Megalomaniatheater (Frankfurt on the Main) in Offenbach's Blaubart and Dessau’s Der Untergang des Lukullus. In November 2021, she took part in the world premiere of Anton Urpruch's Die heilige Cäcilia, produced by the Pianopianissimo Musiktheater (Munich).
Recently, Marie-Luise Reinhard has been invited to participate with the Bayreuther Festspielchor as alto in the next festivals on the Green Hill.
